Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban is regarded as the queen of Drama in various media. Her versatility and her experience as an actor is well appreciated. Angelica Hale, then 4 years old, was taken very sick in 2012 due to the strep-pneumonia bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston put Angelica Hale on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. Her organs failed in multiple ways, and her kidneys were not able to fully recover. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis was her new norm. After having spent 80 days in the hospital, she went from being close to death, and then a lengthy recovery road. After one year and a half of dialysis Angelica was able to undergo the largest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. It was her mother who was the one to donate her kidney. Angelica Hale underwent a successful renal transplantation together with her mother on 13th September 2013. The surgery was performed at Emory University Hospital, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her celebrity dreams from the moment she was born.
